Naturally Infused Fruit Drink

One of the best things about this drink is that it is 100% healthy!

Elsewhere this drink is called a "Fat Flush" drink. You drink it 10 days in a row and it flushes your system out, boosts your metabolism, boosts your daily energy and simply makes you feel healthier!

Ingredients suit 1.5L jug/bottle of water.

What you need:
Water.
1 orange, sliced.
2 slices of a grapefruit (or 1 thick slice).
3 mint leaves, cut in half.
6 slices of continental cucumber.

Peel all of them first.

What to do:

All you have to do is combine them in your jug with water, refrigerate for 24 hours and drink 1 glass before each meal (3 glasses a day). Your jug should last you 1 day, do not just refill it as your fruit will be flavourless. You will need to cut your fruit up again each day or prepare ahead.

This drink is not a super food. You will need to do daily exercise, follow a healthy meal plan and take this drink to see weight loss results. This is simply a metabolism drink to help you feel energized and to help you get on track to a healthier life. If you feel unwell at any time while using this drink please see your doctor. If you are pregnant, please confirm with your doctor that all fruits are safe to eat during pregnancy. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Banana Bread

What you need:
2 Over Ripe Bananas, mashed
2 Eggs, lightly whisked
50g of Butter, melted and cooled
1 and 3/4 Cups of Self Raising Flour
1/4 Cup of Plain Flour
2/3 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup of Milk
1 Teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon

What to do:

Preheat your oven to 180° and foil a small rectangle loaf tin.

Sift flours and cinnamon into a large bowl then stir in your brown sugar. Combine dry ingredients then make a well in the middle.

Place milk, egg, melted butter and mashed banana into a separate bowl from your dry ingredients. Stir well until combined.

Add the banana mix into the well of your dry mix, slowly stir it and fold the flour into the banana mix. Once well combined, place straight into your foiled tin, place it in the oven for about 40 minutes. It may need longer, depending on your oven. Do not turn the heat up, just keep it in longer.

Your banana bread will be ready when you can stick a skewer through it and pull it out without any mixture on it!

Cream Cheese Frosting

What you need:
100g of Philadelphia Cream Cheese, soft
60g of Butter, soft
4ml of Vanilla Essence
1 Cup of Icing Sugar, sifted

What to do:
Place cheese, butter and vanilla in a bowl. Using an electric beater, beat until pale. Gradually add icing sugar and beat until combined.

Red Velvet Cake

What you need:
1 Cup of Plain Flour
2 Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder
1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/8 Teaspoon of Salt
1 and 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla Essence
1 Teaspoon of White Vinegar
120g of Unsalted Butter, room temperature
3/4 Cups of White Sugar
1 Large Egg, lightly beaten
1 Tablespoon of Red food colouring

What to do:
Pre-heat your oven and set it to 180°C. Foil your tin up, the tin I am using is called a Rectangle Loaf Tin and it is 23 x 12 x 6.

Sift in a separate bowl your flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Set this aside. Mix in another separate bowl your milk, vinegar and vanilla. Also set this aside.

Place your butter in a mixing bowl and beat it on medium-low speed, until creamy and smooth, this usually takes around 1-2 minutes. Increase the speed to medium and slowly add your sugar in. Continue to beat until the mix becomes light in colour and fluffy in texture, usually this takes about 2-3 minutes. Make sure you stop and scrape the sides down occasionally.

Keep the mixer on medium speed and slowly add your lightly beat egg. On the lowest speed, slowly add in your dry ingredient mix. While slowly adding the dry mix in, also slowly add in your wet ingredient mix. Make sure you scrape down the sides occasionally.

Continue to beat the mix on low speed for about 2 minutes, then add in your red colouring. Once you have mixed the colour through, without delay, spoon the mix into your pan and put it into the oven for about 45 minutes.

When your cake is ready it should spring back when you touch the top of it. Place it on a cooling rack and let it cool for about 30 minutes before icing.

You can put any icing with this cake, usually I would put a cream cheese icing with it. If you search through my other recipes there is another recipe for cream cheese frosting.
